We’re a fully licensed Portuguese tour operator. All bookings made directly with Farol Discover are subject to the conditions below.

1. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit or full payment (for online purchases).

• Deposit: 30% upon confirmation.
• Final payment: Due 30 days before the start of the trip.
• Bookings made less than 30 days before departure: Full payment required at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation Policy

• Up to 31 days before departure: €50 administrative fee
• From the 30th day before departure: 40%
• From the 24th day before departure: 50%
• From the 17th day before departure: 60%
• From the 10th day before departure: 80%
• From the 3rd day before departure or no-show: 90%

If you cancel, we’ll refund you according to the schedule above, minus any non-refundable costs already paid to our suppliers.

3. Changes or Cancellations by Farol Discover

If unforeseen circumstances (like bad weather or supplier issues) require changes to your trip, we’ll offer an equivalent alternative whenever possible.
If a program must be cancelled, you can choose between a full refund or another trip.

4. Insurance

All programs include the legally required liability and personal accident insurance.
We recommend that participants also have personal travel insurance covering medical costs and trip cancellation.

5. Data Protection

Your personal data is used only for managing your booking and providing the services you purchased, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6. Legal

These conditions are governed by Portuguese law. In case of dispute, the competent court is Lisboa, Portugal.
Farol Discover is registered in the official Online Complaint Book (Livro de Reclamações Electrónico).
